Rwanda to host The Africa Green Revolution Forum Summit in September

  Agriculture

Rwanda is set to host the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) from 5 to 9 September 2022. The upcoming summit will explore the actions needed to accelerate strategies towards food safety systems.

“We are confident that this Summit under the theme 'Grow, Nourish, Reward – Bold Actions for Resilient Food Systems', will come up with concrete actions that can build sustainable and resilient food systems”, Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente addressed at the launch ceremony.

The AGRF summit serves as the world’s premier forum for advancing Africa’s agricultural agenda. This year’s AGRF Summit will focus on identifying priorities and gaps in Africa’s transformation and providing a platform for alignment on shared continental priorities and progress towards building food systems that deliver for people and the planet at large.

Today’s launch ceremony convened physically and virtually by different dignitaries, aimed to announce the theme, format and to build the momentum towards AGRF 2022.
