President Kagame swears in new Ministers

Kigali, Friday 19 March 2021 – President Kagame has on Friday officiated the swearing in ceremony of newly appointed Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Habyarimana Uwamaliza Beata and Minister of Local Government, Hon. Jean Marie Vianney Gatabazi.

In his remarks of the day, president Kagame reminded all serving leaders that their work is to serve the citizens and the country, insisting on reminding themselves that they are working to transform citizens’ lives for the better; and not working for their own gains.

President Kagame also expressed the deepest condolences to the people of the United Republic of Tanzania following the passing on of Late President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli who was a steadfast pan-African, and a friend to Rwanda.
