Kigali, Tuesday 08 December 2020 – President Kagame has on Tuesday attended the opening session of the second edition of Kusi Ideas Festivals themed “Towards a post – covid Africa: Recovering Together.”

In his remarks of the day, President Kagame said that the lessons we have learned during the Covid-19 pandemic as a continent, and the solutions we have already applied will help us to recover together. He also emphasised that continued collaboration is key, in order to emerge from this period in safety and prosperity.

The Nation Media Group (NMG) launched the Kusi Ideas Festival early in 2019 as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, to be an “ideas transaction market” for the challenges facing Africa, and the various solutions and innovations the continent is undertaking to secure its future in the 21st century.
