President Kagame attends the ICGLR Summit
Luanda, Tuesday 20 April 2021 – President Kagame has on Tuesday has attended the ICGLR Mini Summit on the political and security situation in Central Africa chaired by President João Lourenço and attended by President Sassou Nguesso, President Touadéra and Major General Ibrahim Jaber, representing Sudan.
Various reports indicate that CAR's neighbours are hideouts of radical groups that infiltrate CAR's borders and commitatrocities and other numerous acts of violence. Rwanda has played a great role in seeking peace and restoration of security in the country. The country contributes Peacekeepers in the United Nations Mission in the Central Africa Republic(Minusca).
At the occasion of his visit in Angola, President Kagame met with President João Lourenço of Angola who is also the current chairperson of ICGLR.
