President Kagame addresses the Raisina Dialogue
Kigali, Tuesday 13 April 2021 – President Kagame has on Tuesday joined India Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the virtual inauguration of the 6th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, India’s flagship conference on geopolitics designed to explore prospects and opportunities for Asian integration as well as Asia's integration with the larger world.
In his speech, President Kagame said that Rwanda and India continue to collaborate on important infrastructure and development initiatives, with the key objective being to increase the educational and employment opportunities available to young people in both India and Rwanda. President Kagame also commended India for playing a major role in supporting Africa’s Covid-19 vaccination efforts.
The four days event will have a total of 50 sessions with the participation of 150 speakers from 50 countries and multilateral organisations. Several world leaders will take part in the dialogue organised by India’s Ministry of External Affairs and the Observer Research Foundation.
